Electric transit vehicles and correlating electric infrastructure require specialized high-power connectors. Autonomous high-power wireless charging systems must have a form-fitting connector that meets certain electrical and mechanical characteristics.

This case report examines the market exigencies for electrified mass transit vehicles and the solution PEI-Genesis provided to a customer for their small form-fit connector with high-power contacts.
